They gave quick but informal instruction on how to operate the equipment. The views were beautiful and we took it out to crab island. Defiantly worth the price, which I must say was very reasonable. Loved every minute and will be back next year!
We are true newbies and they treated us like gold, giving us fishing gear to use and sending us directions beforehand to a bait and tackle store that was on our way to the boat so we could get a license and live bait. Then they sent us to some great fishing spots in the bay. We could tell from the start to finish this is owner-operated by someone who really values customer service. A bait shop can provide rod rentals, artificial lures, and time-tested natural bait. Cold beer, sodas, sandwiches, snacks and ice cream are also sold. Restroom facilities are also available. The pier is open 24/7 during most of the year except from mid-November thru mid-March with hours 5 AM until Midnight.
Rental period: Half day rental is 4 hours , full day is 9 hours . The rental period starts at the time of reservation, not at the time of arrival. Please arrive 20 minutes prior to departure if you wish to use all of your rental time. You are not required to arrive on time if you prefer to get a late start.
