Our little Island nation is made up of 41 islands and cays. Only 9 are inhabited. With no roads connecting these islands the only way to really explore our country is by boat. The best times in the islands are days spent cruising on the turquoise seas while exploring the plethora of secluded beaches, coves and reefs in this amazing archipelago with family and friends. The options and experiences available are boundless.
There are so many places to visit and explore, enough to keep you coming back for years to come and certainly more than enough to have kept us excited for over the last two decades. From two-hour excursions and half day cruises to full day adventures, we love to get out there and show you the best of the TCI. Boat Excursions Throughout The Turks And Caicos
The availability and selection of boat excursions vary greatly by island in the Turks and Caicos.
On Providenciales and Grand Turk, theres a wide array of regularly- scheduled trips to choose from, including tours dedicated to specific activities such as snorkeling or partying. Tours on Providenciales, and to a lesser degree Grand Turk, feature a tremendous selection of vessels. Choose from private luxury yachts to tranquil sailing catamarans, and everything in-between.
On our smaller islands of North and Middle Caicos, South Caicos, and Salt Cay, the options are a bit more limited. In many cases, there isnt sufficient tourism to support full-time cruises, so excursions are piloted by generational fishermencaptains who have an unparalleled knowledge of the local water and sights.
The tour boats on our less-populated islands may not have the amenities or be quite as luxurious as those on Providenciales, however youll get to visit cays and reefs that very few get to experience.

Advantages Of Snorkeling Cruise Over Snorkeling From The Shore
When compared to the shore snorkeling spots in the Bight and Grace Bay, a good boat excursion should offer better visibility, more impressive coral and geological formations, and a greater chance of seeing the larger sea animals such as sharks, dolphins, and eagle rays.
If you just want to see colorful reef fish, small sea creatures and a few stingrays and sea turtles, the free-to-access Smith’s Reef and The Bight Reef are probably the better choice.
One thing to keep in mind is that your snorkeling cruise experience is largely dependent on where you go, ocean conditions, and your captain. Some cruises only stop at sites that are the same sites that you can access from the beach.
